Vocalist/guitarist for ska band Johnny Olas releases music featuring German singer Sara Lugo.
Palma is the newly created solo pop project by Francisco Padilla, vocalist/guitarist for the ska band Johnny Olas, from Santiago (Chile). The musician has just released the second song, the sweet 'Llévame', which has the participation of the German singer Sara Lugo.
‘Llévame’ is a reggae and pop track. It invites an imaginary journey between two people separated by confinement and distance. "It is the search for a meeting that never seems to come," says Padilla.
The song features the participation of the German singer Sara Lugo. Of Costa Rican ancestry, the interpreter sings for the first time in Spanish, in a song that stands out for its strength and nuances. In fact, Santiago is the third city in the world where Sara's music is heard the most, according to data from Spotify.
“Since her ‘Really Like You’ success, I’ve listened to Sara and shared her music with friends and colleagues. It is truly an honor to be able to share voices with a singer so talented that she had the generosity to bet on my project".
A year after writing this song and finally releasing it, says Padilla, he realized that he and Sara share a 'common place', despite the ocean and land that separates them. "In a complex context, where artisans were the great forgotten," he says.
After releasing the first single ‘Dentro’, Palma confirms his compositional vocation and starts presenting news that will be repeated every month. "The upcoming releases will also include Chilean and foreign guests, in a quest to establish the widest spectrum of listeners possible," he reveals.
