Foo Fighters 25th Anniversary Tour becomes 26th Anniversary Tour.

Anniversary Tour dates, scrapped due to the pandemic is rescheduled!

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees' Foo Fighters, for obvious reasons, forsake their plans for a 25th Anniversary celebrating tour last year, but not all is lost. A press release noted that a six-date trek takes place this summer are just “the first confirmed” dates and advised fans to keep an eye out for “a crapload more shows to be announced.”

The first confirmed concerts start July 28th in Cincinnati, Ohio and are scheduled around their headlining spot at Lollapalooza with further stops in Milwaukee, St. Louis, Bonner Springs, Oklahoma City, and Albuquerque. Foo Fighters are also set to headline Boston Calling 2022 alongside Rage Against the Machine.

The original 25th anniversary Tour plans involved revisiting cities the band played on their first tour, teasing the possibility of playing “surprise” gigs at the same club venues they played in 1995, it’s unclear if these plans are still valid for 2021.

Last fall, the band released the documentary Times Like Those to reflect on their actual 25th anniversary. Their latest album, Medicine at Midnight, arrived back in February.
