Band also announces the release of the album, You Will Be The Death Of Me, and a livestream on June 25th.
Light the Torch is in full swing, having released a new single and music video for ‘Let Me Fall Apart’, as well as announcing a live show on the album's release day, June 25th. The setlist will include never played before songs from the new album. It will also include a VIP meeting by Zoom with the band in advance. Tickets for the show can be purchased here.
According to Howard Jones (vocals) “I loved this song ('Let Me Fall Apart') as soon as I heard it. The song stuck in my head, so I knew from the start that I would have to work on it for the album. Francesco (Artusato, guitarist) wrote the entire chorus and I did my best to match this energy. We look forward to her seeing the light of day.”
The album ‘You Will Be the Death of Me’ marks the band's return to the Sparrow Sound studio in Glendale, Calif. to work again with the production team of Josh Gilbert and Joseph McQueen [Bullet for My Valentine, As I Lay Dying, Suicide Silence]. This time the band also welcomed drummer Alex Rudinger from the band Whitechapel.
Famous for its seven-string guitar melodies, the album contains 12 metal anthems, including an unexpected and incredible cover of the 80's hit ‘Sign Your Name’ by R&B singer Terence Trent D'Arby. The group skyrocketed the charts with their debut album, 'Revival'. The album was ranked #4 on the Billboard in the US Independent Albums category and #10 for Hard Rock's Most Incredible Albums, not counting honorable mentions from Revolver magazine, Outburn and many more. 'Calm Before the Storm' has garnered an impressive 14.5 million streams from Spotify, while 'The Safety of Disbelief' remains one of the most requested songs of all time on SiriusXM Octane. They also crisscrossed North America and Europe on tours that featured bands like Trivium, Avatar, In Flames, Ice Nine Kills, Killswitch Engage and August Burns Red.
