Psychedelic Furs will release first album in nearly three decades.

Made of Rain is due to release in July 31.



Founded by the Butler brothers, singer Richard Butler and bassist Tim Butler, The Psychedelic Furs are among the most significant and lasting bands of the post-punk era. After an extended hiatus from 1992 to 2000, in which they recorded and toured under the name of Love Spit Love, the finally reconvened in 2001.

After 20 years of touring, earlier this year, the Psychedelic Furs announced the release of their first album in nearly three decades. The record, originally planned for May 1st, got pushed due to the coronavirus pandemic, To saciate the fans, the band started sharing new music and giving fans a sense of what’s to come: “Don’t Believe” was released in January 30; “No-One” on April 21st and now “Come All Ye Faithful” on June 24.

For what its worth, the new songs shows the band in its best with magnificent haunting melodies, their typical desperate wall of sound, driving rhythms and subversive lyrical power.
